If you want to book me for a workshop you can inbox me and check in which continent I am. As a nomadic worker I' m constantly on the road.
If you think I'm too far, you can hire me online.

APRIL 29
POLKA DOT ART GALLERY - KAREN

We all have a story to tell.  This workshop is an intensive journey where our children are encouraged to tell their stories. Stories that are inclusive in which they feel represented. Through a guided path, they will write their story, create the illustrations for it, bind the book and learn different ways of publishing and sharing their work.

MAY 8

The FICTIONAL SHORT STORY class talks every week about some vital aspect of writing fiction based on both reading and students’ individual writing, including: first sentences; the donnée (“that which is given”); setting; structure—including rising action and climax and denouement; scenes; exposition vs. dramatization; description; character—especially honesty (“who we are in the dark”); point-of-view; the narrator-character; the ogues (dialogue, indirect dialogue, and interior monologue); tone and style; theme-mongering; and, of greatest importance, the stout stake of emotion.

The AUTOBIOGRAPHY WORKSHOP is designed for those who wish to use life events to write a narrative, using memory, confessional and testimonial paradigms, self representation. A journey of self exploration, the healing power of writing, finding the inner voice, gaining self confidence with the writing tools.
